GUIDELINES & POLICIES
Search Protect is a separate piece of software installed on your hard drive in connection with your installation of a Customized Software or third-party software. It is designed to change and protect your preferred Browser home page and default search settings from unintentional takeover by third-party software during redirection of service attacks. Search Protect may alert you if a third party attempts to change your Browser’s default search or home page settings.
You can elect to change your Browser’s search and home page settings at any time by clicking the “Settings” link in the Search Protect dialogue box or by going to the Tools/Settings/Options tab on your Browser. Learn More
Search Protect captures information about your Internet Browser, your computer, and companies’ attempts to redirect your search settings, and stores this information with your search queries and/or IP address.
Conduit does not sell, share, or rent the information you provide through Search Protect with any Third Parties. It may share the information with its wholly owned subsidiaries.
You can uninstall Search Protect at any time by using the standard uninstall process that are available as part of your operating system (for example, “add/remove programs” in Microsoft Windows).
In the event Conduit materially changes the Search Protect, this Privacy Addendum may change as well.
Before any material change of Search Protect following a software update and/or material change of this Privacy Addendum, Conduit will present you with a detailed notification (e.g. a pop-up notification) of such changes, including information on how you may uninstall Search Protect if you do not wish to receive such updates.
