Mobile Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to toolbar or app users that have chosen to use the Conduit mobile app.

Mobile-specific information we collect and use

  • We do not collect or transmit “Personally Identifying Information” from mobile app users (such as telephone number, street address etc.) and do not monitor their personal use of the mobile app.
  • The mobile app sends unidentifiable and non-personal statistical data to Conduit’s servers and some information on device-specific technical events, such as software crashes or errors in order to provide quality assurance feedback that can help us improve our services and our product support processes. Such non-personal data may include unidentifiable usage of the mobile app (for example: statistical usage data can be sent if you open or close the App).
  • When the mobile app users log in to the mobile app using their social network account they may provide us with personal information through such social network service. Such information may be used by Conduit to enable the mobile app users to add or to personalize some of the content that will be available or suggested to them via the mobile app, as well as to easily access the content they choose or to receive suggestions for content that may be relevant to them.
  • The mobile app users have full control over the mobile app and can modify their preferences at any time (including the content they have added to the mobile app), from the mobile app.
  • In the event that a Publisher chooses to provide the mobile app users with content in the mobile app, the users will have the opportunity to decide whether to add such content or not. Conduit is not responsible for the privacy practices of the Publishers and therefore we encourage users to be aware when they leave the mobile app to a third party website, and to read the privacy statements of such web sites.
  • The mobile app does not enable other software applications to access data stored on the mobile app users’ mobile device or in their social network account.

Information Sharing

  • All requests must be sent through the users’ mobile carrier's network and the carrier may have access to it. For information regarding the carrier's treatment of the users’ information, the users must review their carrier's privacy policies. Conduit has no control over the policies that may be applied by the users’ carrier.
  • Certain elements of our services may allow the mobile app users to interact and share your information with others via social network services. Such usage is governed by the respective social network services and not Conduit. We ask the users to consider carefully before disclosing any personal information or data that might be accessible to others. We encourage the users to read the privacy statements of any website that may host their information. These websites maintain their own policies regarding the collection and use of personal information and it is up to the users to review those policies.

Uninstall and contact information

  • Mobile app users can easily uninstall the mobile app at any time by using the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of their mobile device or via iTunes.
  • If mobile app users have a reason to believe that their rights have been infringed upon while using the mobile app, please contact Conduit via email at: Privacy@conduit.com .
