Library scrutinized and reviewed by Bodley's Librarian

The CEU Library was reviewed by one-member committe (Sarah Thomas, Bodley’s Librarian) on September 17, 2011. The purpose of her visit was to conduct an expert review to identify strategic directions and scrutinize the relationship of the Library and information technology in relationship to the CEU campus redevelopment project. ALA President visited the CEU Library

Roberta Stevens, president of the American Library Association (ALA), visited the CEU Library on Sunday, May 15 2011. The ALA President was deeply impressed by its modern design and sophisticated, high-level services. Roberta Stevens and Maria Szlatky exchanged ideas about the role of libraries in the 21st century and about the special mission of university libraries in particular. They spent the evening together and greatly enjoyed the excellent performance of Verdi’s Otello at the Opera House.

Annual of Medieval Studies goes online

The Annual of Medieval Studies at CEU is available online. The volumes of the Annual of Medieval Studies at CEU offer a series of articles on various aspects of the history of medieval Central and Eastern Europe and gives an overview of the articles of the department in the academic years.
