We at Conduit have gone Search-silly! We've souped-up the Search Box and Search Results Page, and are enabling you to create a Community Search Engine straight from your Control Panel!

Menu in the Box – Much like with Google's toolbar, the Search Menu now appears INSIDE the search box, rather than externally, to its right-hand side.
Go Go Go - Where the Search Menu used to be, we have added a 'Go' button, so depending on users' searching styles, they now have the option either to enter search text into the box and click 'Enter', or 'Go'.
Brainier Background Text - You have always been able to define your own default background text to appear in the Search Box when it doesn't contain a term. Up until now, if you didn't provide a default term, it remained blank. Not so anymore! Now by default, the background text that appears in the field is the name of the engine being searched. How smart is that?
Revved up Results Page Up until now our Search Results Page was pretty standard. Not anymore...
'My Searches' - Now the Search Results Page includes a history log ('My Searches') of up to 10 search terms. This means your users don't have to type the same terms into different engines, or type them again and again. Instead, they can enter their most popular terms into the Search field in only one click. Speak My Language! - Now Users can choose their interface and search engine language from 35 different language options! See a preview
Link to Your Portal - Last but not least, your Users will have quicker access to your Portal Page through a link that we've added to the bottom of the Search Results Page. See a preview
Community Search (now from the Control Panel!) Create a special search engine that's just right for your community.
You may already know about our Community Search Engine feature, which lets you create a unique search engine on a topic of interest to your community, by defining the domains from which you want search results to be restricted.
Well now, this amazing capability is available DIRECTLY from your Control Panel!
Scroll over the Search Box in the dummy toolbar and press 'Edit'
Scroll down until you reach the link: 'Create a Community Search Engine'
From there you can select up to 20 sites to include in the engine, give it a name, and upload a special icon for it. Good luck!
Your users won't be able to stop searching!
