Heftier Hosting: Conduit upgrades its storage system

Dror Erez, our CTO, poked his head out of the control room just long enough to announce that Conduit's new and improved servers are up and running, and providing our community toolbar publishers and their users with heftier hosting than ever before.

"This is the kind of change that the average community toolbar publisher cannot necessarily detect, but that translates into greater security for their toolbar, as their user base continues to grow," explains Erez. "Every day, we are getting more and more new publishers building new Conduits, and they are getting more and more downloads, so we decided to take a long-view approach to our hosting solution; one that anticipates our platform will only grow more popular in the future."

The improved hosting solution consists of a series of new power-packed dedicated servers. According to Erez, this means not only increased security in the long-run, but instant increased toolbar performance. "The new and improved hosting solution also means more fluid toolbar functionality," he says. "Bigger servers means better service."
