Got the Code? Now Meet the Competition…February 10, 2011

February 10, 2011 — Tel Aviv, Israel— If you’re a professional developer with a library of quality code you could be in the running to win $40,000 in cash and prizes. Binpress, an appstore-like marketplace where developers buy and sell source code from one another, is hosting a competition for best developed and most useful source-code packages. From international judges with backgrounds across the entire spectrum of web development to industry-leading sponsors, this is more than just a fantastic chance for professional developers to be compensated for their work; it’s a unique opportunity to establish their credentials as high-level web developers.
 
To ensure the competition is of the highest standard, only professional web developers will be allowed to participate. The competition will run from January 24th  until February 24th, with winners announced shortly thereafter.  The deadline to submit is Thursday, February 24.

Judging guidelines
All submissions have to meet certain minimum requirement in order to be accepted. These requirements include following coding conventions and best practices while avoiding copyright violations.
