Conduit Wins United States Technology Patent for Innovative Website Syndication PlatformMarch 25, 2009

San Francisco – March 25, 2009 – Conduit, a leading provider of website syndication solutions, today announced that its patent application has been allowed by the United States Patent and Trademark Office for its marketing platform.  Conduit is the original developer of the hosted solution currently used by more than 180,000 publishers to deploy toolbars for more than 38,000,000 users around the world.

Historically toolbars have been created through a software development cycle, were built by software engineers, and required maintenance and bug fixes. The Conduit SaaS solution was built from the ground up to put the control back in the hands of small businesses, allowing them to create and deploy their own community toolbar with no technical skills and at no cost. The award-winning Conduit marketing platform enables publishers to easily integrate functionality from their web site into their own community toolbar thus extending their presence on the user’s desktop.

“Conduit is transforming the value of toolbars with a marketing platform that enables web publishers to deploy any content or software on their own branded toolbar,” said Ronen Shilo, CEO of Conduit. “Our first-of-its-kind technology provides web publishers of all sizes with the benefit of offering their own software product without the overhead of dealing with software. And it’s a better method for reaching their audience because the tool travels with users no matter where they go on the internet. We are very proud to have received this patent because of the innovation that it represents.”

The Conduit solution is available free of charge and is supported by Firefox and Internet Explorer for Windows, Mac and Linux. Interested web publishers should go to www.conduit.com to learn more.
